 Michelle Trachtenberg ( born October 11, 1985) is an American actress and model. Trachtenberg began her career as a young girl performing in films, commercials and television shows. Her first role with credit was the lead role in Nona Mecklenberg on Nickelodeon's The Adventures of Pete & Pete (1994-1996). As Maggie, she starred as the character named after her in Nickelodeon Movies' comedy Harriet the Spy (1996). She also starred as Maggie in the CBS sitcom Meego (1997). Both were in which she was honored with two Young Artist Awards.

  Katherine Bear Tur was born on October 26, 1983. She is an American journalist writer, author, and broadcast journalist who is employed as a NBC News correspondent. Tur anchors MSNBC Reports. From 2021, she hosts Katy Tur Reports. She also contributes to NBC News platforms Early Today, Today and NBC Nightly News.    Early life  Tur is the daughter and grandchild of journalist Zoey Tur, and Marika Gerrard. She graduated from Brentwood School (2001), as well as the University of California, Santa Barbara (2005) with an undergraduate degree in philosophy. She is Jewish.
